This week’s Wednesday Work Blog is about hearing God. Someone just said to me that God doesn’t speak to them. What about you? Does God speak to you? Have you gone to him to seek him? He tells us in his word that he is not a respecter of persons. And that he will give wisdom to all those who seek him–and he gives his wisdom liberally to all who ask for it.
My challenge to this person is my challenge to you. If you long for God to speak to you I recommend reading the book of John. Then read it again. In fact, live there for a while. Stay there, praying and asking God to give you his wisdom, to speak to your heart. He will speak to you.
“But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.” Deuteronomy 4:29
“How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart.” Psalm 119:2
