Ever look at old pics and say, “That was a good day.”? We all have memories of great moments and fun activities. We take pics in hopes of etching them into our memories. This Hump-Day let’s take time to remember some of our best days. Remember the feelings surrounding those times. But let’s not stop there and don’t let this day go by without being intentional. Be intentional about having a great day—today. On that note let’s do this every Hump-Day. Why not? It’ll be 52 mile markers of great moments in our year. At the end of the year you’ll have gained a life lesson of making intentional great memories with loved ones. Why do we put off what we can do today?
For too long we’ve waited for vacations and special occasions to motivate our special memories. Not any longer! On Hump-Day we’ll be intentional about making a great-day-memory. What will it be? It can be simple or extravagant. Spend it with a loved one or by yourself doing something you love. Whatever it is, make sure you’ll look back on it with fond memories. And it doesn’t have to take the entire day… just carve out some time to stamp a great memory in your mind.
What are some things you’ve thought about doing? Places you’ve wanted to dine? Adventures you’ve wanted to take? Hobbies you’ve wanted to start? Groups you’ve wanted to join or initiate? Sports you’ve wanted to try? People with whom you want to spend time? Do it today. Do something special or new today. Quit waiting for time to be on your side… it’s here. Spend it wisely making the best memories in the present.
Take a pic and hashtag it #wednesdayworkblog and share your ideas and how they came to fruition. I can’t wait to read about them and get inspired by you!
Remember, Friday is always acomin’ but most importantly, Christ is coming back too!
