Wednesday Work Blog: We All Have Our Hills To Climb

Wednesday Work Blogs are tributes to Hump-Days. On this Hump-day I’m busy climbing a hill which precludes my writing a lengthier blog. So, on point… we all have our hills to climb and they’re varied in attributes and number. God helps us to climb those hills. Some are hardly noticeable, while others seem insurmountable.

Not sure what hill or mountain you’re facing this week. I offer a prayer for you and would love your prayers too. We need to support one another because God is our strength and joy and our very present help. My hill is not daunting, but I am navigating one. We are all in navigation mode… are we not? Therefore, let us proceed in he who strengths us. He will do his perfect work in us… as we look to him.

Lord, please be with all your children whether they’re in the valley or climbing a hill/mountain. We know you are faithful, and we thank you. We lift our eyes to you and ask for you to strengthen us for the journey, on the inside and out. Guide our steps Father. Give us your wisdom and peace. Fill us with your Spirit to overflowing. Commune with us as we seek you, Lord. Give us all we need to navigate this day and all others. We look to you for our daily needs asking you, in your sovereignty, to align us with your perfect will. Feed our soul with your truths and anchor us in them. We love you, Father and praise your holy name. In Christ’s name we ask these things, Amen.

I recommend reading the book of John for encouragement.

On this Hump-Day Wednesday, remember that Friday is always coming. Most importantly, Christ is coming back too!
